2020-2021 Women's Basketball Schedule

Down 29-17 after Q1. Shots not falling and WIU shooting 70%. Only 3 turnovers so that’s good. You can tell we’re probably the better team but discrepancy in shooting is the issue. We are also struggling with WIU’s increased pace.

WIU stream shows no clock and score is just a video feed of an spreadsheet that gets updated about 30 seconds late. Only one camera, no replays, listened to commentator for about 4 seconds before muting.

We are playing like shit. Worse than most games in previous years. Down 22 to a team with one D1 win against a winless Atlantic Sun team. Hopefully an eye opener.

Beat in every phase of the game by a 1-7 team. They seemed to beat us to every loose ball and almost every rebound, not to mention all the turnovers. Surprised we came as close as we did ! Tomorrow is another day and hopefully we will play much better.

Gaislerova, Cobbins, and Deaton went 1 for 20 from the floor. That is some serious brick laying.

Hope that ladies and bounce back today and get a win. Yesterday's game was not pretty. They have played so much better this year that yesterday's performance was hard to watch. I know coach was not happy with it and I will make the assumption the players were not either. Here is to a new day and a bison win.
