WDAY sports just said NDSU starts the conference schedule with the UND game on Dec 16th, but isn't it just a game and not considered a conference game?

You are correct. Summit ball doesn’t start until after the new year and is back to back nights only

We are number #1 in real time college basketball RPI - tracking as of now! haha - We are coming South Carolina! Way too early to be real but fund to look at.

This is a awesome start to the year for us.

Well, that is pretty damn cool. Summit with 3 ranked teams. Wouldn't it be nice if year in, year out(week in/week out) 3 teams from the Summit were consistently ranked in the mid-major poll? I know the SDs are already there and established but with 3 teams with solid rankings you would think the Summit being a two bid league would happen more years than not.

I think the Summit being a multibid league is something that can definately happen. Maybe this year.

Thinking a little bit on it, if NDSU can get to the state of having the kind of support it had in the 1990's, what kind of salary could this job support? I see major athletic department salaries in the half million range. I think NDSU can afford to hold on if this goes well.

It happened in the last NCAA women’s bball tournament in 2019.

And would also have happened last year. Both USD and SDSU would've made the tournament if it happened last year. We will be at least a 2 bid....if not 3 if NDSU pulls off a huge upset in the Summit League tourney for this years tourney. That's very wishful thinking but 2 will be a no brainer again this year.
