Bison beat UN_ 3-0 tonight. One more match tomorrow and then the season is done.

Syra Tanchin was great tonight and she's closed the season really strong.

NDSU takes set 1 from UN_ 25-7. Hopefully two more quick sets to follow.

That was the worst set I've ever seen from a college team.

NDSU ended their season with a sweep of UND last night. NDSU finished the year 10-8 overall, 8-8 in conference play, and 4-0 against UND.

The conference tournament is only allowing the top 4 teams to participate this year, so NDSU did not make it with their 5th place finish. There were a clear top 5 teams, but NDSU's inability to win any of their 5 set matches against Omaha, UMKC, and USD will be the difference in them not making the conference tournament.

Alexis Bachmeier, Bella Lien, and Allie Mauch at least got to end their careers with a sweep of UND.

The team had largely begun a youth movement, as Lien was the only senior playing a ton at the end of the year.

The foundation for next year is very solid with the possible conference freshman of the year Ali Hinze leading the attack with Syra Tanchin at the other OH spot. Tanchin was great in the final month of the season.

Kelley Johnson improved quite a bit from last year, and I'd rank her in the middle of the starting setters in the Summit. If she can make a similar improvement to last offseason, this team will be hard to beat.

Taylor Quan will return as the top libero and Kirstin Tidd will be the top returner in the middle. Tidd was very efficient all year, but Lien was their rock in the middle defensively.

The incoming freshmen look talented and will have a chance to push for immediate playing time. Alexis Boling and Raegan Reilly are probably the two who can break through and contribute in a big way. Morgan Middleton could crack the OH rotation too.
