Dak is not the longterm answer in Dallas. Look at his play the last couple years. He's an average QB but by all accounts a great leader.

This is not a comment on how Trey will do but to say it's a bad spot to be because Dak is established as the starter isn't totally accurate imo. Jerry took a chance on having a replacement for Dak in a year or two.

I dont think Dak has ever played a full season without getting injured. His ankle fracture two years ago was gruesome and he is not the same QB he was, so Trey has a good chance if he learns the play book fast.

Trey looked awful this preseason. Word on the street he didn’t look much better in practice. Injury prone and not good when apparently healthy. Gonna put you on the bench every time.

why? Trey couldn't control who drafted him.

if Carolina or Atlanta or some shit team drafted Trey in 2020 he wouldve started Day 1 for them and be a star for them by now.
    49ers screwed him

as for the latter, the house he bought in Cali was like $1.2 million which is average out there at best

I don't know how the housing market in Kalifornia is doing, but I hope TL gets as much as he paid for it.

Or...the same thing could've happened. A good team bet the farm on him and it didn't work out

Hopefully Dallas finds some play packages to get Trey involved early in the season.
    Insert something clever here...

That’s weird, in the link in SafeTeeJ’s post above that guy expresses a contrary opinion. He claims to have been at every open practice.
    Don't believe everything you think.
