I read a couple things and they all sounded mixed to slightly positive.
There was nothing positive about his play. Holds the ball too long. Made horrible throws into traffic and for some reason looks very slow running. If he isnt a dynamic runner which was one of his strengths he’s really in trouble.

Trey was bad today. I would not be surprised to see him as 3rd or even 4th on the depth chart before he gets dumped from the 9ers
I have been following Grant Cohn on Twitter. Cohn's view is HC Shanahan has decided Trey let him down last season and has moved on. Now, Shananahan has to show that Trey is the the problem, not Shanahan's inability to develop Trey. So, Shanahan announces a competition for the QB 2 slot, but not QB 1. Declares Purdy the "real deal" after a weak camp, and then calls a sequence of plays that puts Trey in a bad spot for his preseason start. All in order to quiet talk of whether Trey should start regular season game 1.
Discuss.
(To clarify, this narrative has been developing throughout each day of the camp.)

I'm not afraid to go to San Francisco. I'll just have a flower in my hair.
Lardsin must go!

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

Trey has great potential to be a good QB but he has to play, his lack of experience is very obvious and 49ers is not where he will get his chance. Sooner he gets traded better it is for him. 49ers are afraid to let him go. It will be the biggest fiasco in 49ers history.
There is no way they have total faith in Purdy.
Not saying Trey should play but it’s not out of the realm of possibility if Trey goes somewhere else he could be a good starting QB and Purdy could be nothing in a couple years.
We shall see. I think Trey looks pretty crappy since he’s been in the NFL but I’d like to see what he can do with a year or two of starts under his belt.
