Toxic? They made the NFC Championship with their 3rd strimg QB and needed their 4th stringer in the NFC Championship, who got hurt and since they didnt have a 5th stringer, they went back to am injured 4th stringer with 1 arm. Sounds like one heck of an organization

The 49ers haven’t wronged Trey in anyway. If he was healthy, Trey would have started the whole season, barring an abysmal performance. Requesting a trade now would look very childish on his part.

There's a weird vibe in this thread that, if you believe what you read, make you think that TL is unhappy, feels like the job should unquestionably be his, can't understand the situation with injuries / lack of actual game time reps and the affect on his own skillset. Dipshits like Grant Cohen and other rubes, some that like and some that dislike Trey (and many of each camp on BV), would have you believe that there's a toxic locker room environment and that they all just need to part ways for the betterment of everyone involved.

However, if you just read or listen to the actual words players/coaches are saying/writing, without interpolation, none of that narrative seems to actually exist.

Is he though? Seems like he's been a pretty good teammate and has been a good 'game manager' for a really good team who made it pretty clear they didn't want him as their guy.

Maybe I missed something and he's a total D-bag, but I've always kind of rooted for the guy because he's FCS and has always been the underdog.

I’ll dig up a source when I’m back at the computer but yeah apparently a big reason they traded up for lance was jimmy’s attitude. “Unreachable” was used to describe him. Probably cool with his teammates but definitely not the easiest guy to coach.
