It was in response to how Lance and Mahomes are similar. They are both light skinned QBs. But yes if the wrong person said that it would not have been taken well.

I think the point that eveyone is dancing around is this....It's ok to say that if you're a black guy,,,,but if you're a white guy and say that.....it's racist.

Some would say that, some don't care, some would say it's insensitive. I would say a well centered person would say it's a silly comment by anyone who was asked to compare two athletes abilities.
