I may be completely off base here, but I remember getting a bit of a jealousy vibe from him when he first started talking about Wentz years ago. It was almost like he was pissed that Wentz was becoming a poster boy for the talent of FCS football. I thought Warner would be a lot more supportive of small school guys, but it was almost like he didn’t want anyone to come close to his legacy.

And he had a less than stellar "career" at uni as well. Wasn't like he lit the fcs world on fire. Basically only played one season? Would say Air mcnair had more fcs firepower than he ever did.
