No they've drafted FCS and D2 players since then.

Although undrafted, Theilen as a D2 player worked out for the vikings.

Kleinsasser soured the Vikings on drafting players outside the FBS or have there been recent draftees I'm forgetting about.

He came from a horrible place but I always thought he was a very good player. There was a stretch of years where it seems like the Vikings had a lame passing game but could run on even good defenses and he was a huge part of that. I remember plays where he mauled DEs with zero o-line help

Would seem like a really odd decision since they just used a 2nd round pick on Jalen Hurts last year and they're pretty much still married to Wentz for at least another season if not two more. I really hope it doesn't happen since I have zero confidence in Philly's current leadership. Heard an interesting tidbit during the Monday night game... since Doug Pederson was hired and Howie Roseman resumed GM duties after the failed Chip Kelly experiment they've drafted one player who's made a Pro Bowl. His name is Carson Wentz.

I thought it was sarcasm. Kleinsasser was one of my favorite Vikings. Very cool to see a ND kid in the NFL.
