Agree with Chapo 100%. I think Sam Herder is way, way too optimistic. If we get to mid January without a massive exodus, I'll believe the season will happen, but not before.

Any interesting nugget to follow is what if there are not enough teams for a championship, but yet some teams insist on playing. What then? Does NDSU play?

Me either I've just been trying to get some on here to understand that is the mindset of this organization. In this ever changing(daily, weekly) COVID world the next 6-12 months "making big/splashy moves" is probably ill advised. Be patient but be ready would be my mindset.

It’s not a moniker. They aren’t informally known as HBCU’s. It wasn’t some term they came up with for marketing purposes or for a Bowl game. They are officially and formally known as HBCU’s. Would you call Christianity or being a Christian a moniker? Would you ask if Christians had to stop using that moniker if one church closed?
