There will not be spring games. No way this happens with fans and without fans there is no way 99% of FCS programs will offset their losses. There won't be enough tv money to make it worth it.

About the only "good" that can come out of this charade is to see some of these pud programs shut down.

I've never found it a good thing when a program shuts down. I never liked them, but I remember when UND had a football program. They were pretty good at one point.

TAB makes a great point in a playful way. I assume he was serious with the first statement and I realize I was a bit harsh. I would certainly be fine if they would get out of D1. These underfunded programs are a huge problem.....and we just saw it first hand this fall........

I don't like seeing programs shut down...just not good. But, I would agree that a realignment should happen. Plenty in FBS should go to FCS, and FCS programs down to DII, and so on.

About the only disagreement I would have is I would like to see them quit playing football if not willing to drop down; this is often the case due to basketball.

Must spread rep eh? Is that like when coach made us pass 5 times before we could bury the biscuit?
    NCAA D1 Hockey:
    60 teams

The most popular sport in THE LAND!

"Oh Canada, our home and native..."
30 affiliated with D1 football (15 FBS and 15 FCS)
30 affiliated with D2, D3, or no football

It's nice to have those programs like shitpot to the north. Every kid should get a chance to play college football if they want.
