Looks like coaches didn’t have a good recruiting strategy to deal with the early departure of a starting QB.
Honestly who saw that coming though. Trey's season was unheard of plus the messed up covid season. Perfect storm.

I always figured we were safe from this problem by taking a QB every year. I'm not overly worried about next fall, hopefully someone steps up. It's getting through the spring with Zeb Mertens that's going to be the problem. In the meantime, run the damn ball. That's what they did with Stick when Wentz got hurt.

Stick as a freshman was twice the QB that Zeb is as a what, redshirt senior?

You have to remember Stick did a lot of running in the first games he started. Where is the running QB for this year?

To be fair and complete. They not only have lost Lance but they lost all their depth as well. The top QB recruits from 16, 17, 18, 19 (late switch on a commit) are all gone.

I bet Hendrix was actually QB2 last season.

Would he throw with the same hand he picks his guitar with?
