Zeb Noland ERA Begins..10/3

With the arrival of Quincy Patterson, I am no longer the least bit concerned about Zeb getting injured. Patterson may very well be a better running QB than Trey Lance. The guy has a running style like Rhamondre Stevenson.

Patterson probably isn't going to threaten Zeb this year, but he might push for the starters job next fall.

Does Patterson have two, or three years eligibility; anybody know?

I believe this was asked in the Patterson thread but I don’t remember. 2 or 3 I think.

Should be a sophomore just like trey would have been. Isn't eligable for the spring season though so injury in spring would be pretty problematic at this point imo

Played in 3 games last fall, but that won’t count due to Covid eligibility rules.
Also played the year before as RFR.

I don't think you can play for two teams in the same season. We're still in the 2020/2021 season.

Correct, so he will still be a sophomore next fall when eligible to play again

One interesting tidbit is that he helped recruit QP to come to NDSU even though that could mean he risks losing his starting job. That's the type of character I want to see on the NDSU team!
