I dont see how it would have been a big F.U. really, there are fans at the P5 games as far as I can tell. They've already given the "middle finger" you reference

You just need a good enough vaccine to get and keep the transmission rate down in combination with other sustainable interventions and improved medical treatments. 50% efficacy is the stated threshold from “our government overlords.” Then some of the following or some others that work and really aren’t that disruptive in some combination: sanitize your hands, don’t shake hands, no Euro kisses (not going to miss that), $1 paper test kits, we should probably be wearing masks at large public gatherings already anyway (cities with professional sports franchises have 25% more flu per capita than those that don’t).
My concern is what's an appropriate transmission rate. And if that's the goal wouldn't it make more sense to permanently ban most large public gatherings, i.e. sporting events (could still watch on tv), concerts, events such as Sturgis, etc.?

I hear Allison makes a nice 6-speed for the Duramax.

    This is 100% correct.

    1. We have effective, scientifically proven treatments right now. (Leftist media seems to not want to admit how effective simple steroids have been.) And don't forget redemsivir. But this does not fit the fear porn narrative. (really like the fear porn line)
    2. Minimal transmission is NOT needed to fully get back to a full normal......why? Eventually, we will have vaccines. Once those are fully available to all with no major inhibitions to access, transmission could still be significant. So, you hide in the basement when it is now a personal choice to not get the vaccine? That is complete hogwash.

I requested a full refund for Spring. I have zero confidence our fearless leaders will play in Spring (assuming they insist on minimal spread to have a season since FCS cannot function without fan revenue) and I want NDSU to realize how poorly they have managed this.

Yeah and every single bar will be at 100% of the limited capacity. In addition house parties will be packed. All they are doing is making the problem worse.

LOL.......have you been in a bar lately? Essentially no masks and social distancing is not followed regardless if capacity lowered.
