NDSU at Colorado. gonna be epic running the ball 53 times with Cole Peyton on his ass
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
I am so curious about this is going to end up.
U of Colorado, Boulder and the PAC12 are very, very different than Jackson State, Jackson and the SWAC.
Not sure they’re going to embrace the snake oil this guy sells.
I wouldn't call him snake oil. No doubt he's excellent at media relations and recruiting. I'd say only Belichick rivals him for name recognition among the general public. Beats out Sabin for sure. All things Colorado needs. Not sure any coach could be successful there without institutional change, but it's possible he has the clout to get things moving.
Interesting, I wouldn’t put him in the same zip code as belicheck or saban. But maybe that’s just the circles I run in or this being SEC country down here. I and the people I talk to mainly are too young for Deion’s playing days.
I also think of him as little more than a goofball “look at me” idiot, so there’s a very good chance that’s affecting my opinion.
I don’t hate the move by Colorado for all the reasons you mentioned. They really need to change it up and there’s no one better to do that. All I’m saying is that he’s going to have to change his hype and his shtick. Not going to be able to hide in the worst conference in the division and duck all the good programs anymore.
This is the funny part. SWAC teams like to act as though they are better than the rest of FCS, while avoiding direct competition.
Really do wonder if Prime understands just how big a gap there is between the SWAC and PAC, and what its going to take to turn around a 1-11 team there. He has huge brand power, and maybe that will solve a lot of problems. But I don't think it will be a cake walk either. I like this move because it isn't like he is walking into an already successful school like Cincinnati. He has to build success in a relatively tough conference from the ground up.
Lol that an nfl hall of fame, college football hall of fame, two sport professional, is considered an idiot here.
Looks to me like he knows exactly what he's doing and winning bros eh.
Lardsin must go!
