Colorado is not an easy place to win. Regarding the PAC - Oregon, Utah, Stanford haven't went anywhere. Winning at Colorado would be a good achievement whether USC and UCLA leave or not. If he does well there.
Coach Prime has also said in the past he'd listen to serious P5 offers. Its not like he left JSU in the trenches. I think you are confusing his efforts to get HBCU football some exposure and notoriety with some idea that HBCU football is some end-all be-all destination.

Celebration Bowl is quite entertaining. Coach Prime’s team showing a lack of discipline. About 4 minutes left and JSU is down 7 to NCCU.

Game into overtime with NCCU leading...good ol' Jay Howard proclaiming this game with end with the crowning of the national champion. (HBCU)
Now the SWAC is THE leading conference in FCS....yeah, Ok.

It's just another version of a national championship. They never claim It's an NCAA or FCS national championship, so they aren't misrepresenting anything. HBCU schools are truly national in that they get their students from all over. As evidenced by the crowds they get at many of their games, they are supported in a big way. I don't get why anyone gets bent out of shape for them playing this game and calling it a national championship. It's a great accomplishment.
