This is the flaw if the rating system and why I wouldn't put a lot of weight on it. It's generally a measure of the kinds of schools recruiting you. This drives the system much more than an analysis of the ability of the athlete. The better the school recruiting the better the athlete may be so it can still be a guide. But recruiting is such an inexact science I wouldn't get too wrapped up in it. Top recruits don't pan out for some reason, guys under the radar excel, and some guys are late bloomers.
