I understand that but recruiting in the middle of the playoffs isn’t easy either yet they find a way. Plus you could also spin it as they had more time in the fall to focus on the 22 class.
No debate it’s a weird year. Pandemic has jostled up the scholarship limits. Speaking of which was there ever a formal announcement that players get an extra year? Can spring seniors play again next year? Are scholarship limits increasing?

Yes to the first question. This year doesn’t count.

    Unsure on scholarships.

Seems like an important point right? If a team has 20 seniors who all want to come back how does that work towards the 63 limit?

Yeah, I think I heard on a podcast or radio that teams will have to figure out how to make scholarships work with the free year of eligibility. So I think the answer is no but I don’t have any facts to back that up.

Rumor has it that Gabe Lloyd(Doug Lloyd’s kid) is transferring to NDSU from Wisconsin. He is a TE with 1 or 2 years of eligibility left.

What’s the point? We don’t use the TE position anyway.
