2022 Recruiting Updates

Anyways, Mason Ellis is suddenly a 3 star recruit according to 247,
now that he has committed to Kansas. Last week, as a Bison commit,
not so many stars. Amazing how, once a Bison commit gets reviewed, their ratings increase. Trouble is, FCS recruits are much less likely to be reviewed, especially in the rural areas.

Last spring Barika Kpeenu was reviewed and was got promoted from zero stars to 3 stars……

This is the flaw if the rating system and why I wouldn't put a lot of weight on it. It's generally a measure of the kinds of schools recruiting you. This drives the system much more than an analysis of the ability of the athlete. The better the school recruiting the better the athlete may be so it can still be a guide. But recruiting is such an inexact science I wouldn't get too wrapped up in it. Top recruits don't pan out for some reason, guys under the radar excel, and some guys are late bloomers.

Any chance El Chapo can take a week break? Signing day and semi final week. He posts/derails every single thread to make the arrow point at him. Could be a fun week.

This should be such a positive week/thread for so many student athletes to celebrate. Lets stay positive.

I don’t remember anyone, so this is nice to see.

Dom had mentioned on Sunday nights inforum blog that there was a possibility of a 3rd recruit being flipped away from NDSU. But so far so good, at least haven’t seen one mentioned here or elsewhere. Izzo would be most connected to the local recruiting……
