Great job of pissing on the product that is Bison Football.
I wish there was more uproar over people of all colors losing their businesses and neighborhoods getting destroyed in regards to these protests

Personalizing your cleats with a sharpie with a political message, is not something I would endorse... but, I felt it wasn't worth getting upset about.

Tee shirts with the BLM fist, again... I saw other schools doing similar stuff -- not something I agree with, but I was willing to go with the flow.

The kneeling during the National Anthem was the tipping point for me... correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the team has always been in the locker room for the National Anthem -- coming out to kneel, made it seem like they wanted to get political.

As a retired military member, I feel strongly that people should respect the flag and the National Anthem, which honors those that fought and died for out freedom... with that act, they have tainted my opinion of Bison athletics. The economic impacts to COVID-19 will significantly impact the NDSU's athletic budget, and the best way to mitigate that is by donations from alumni and supporters. I realized that and was about to significantly increase my team makers donations and donations for the NDSU foundation... right now that increased "giving" is on hold.

Go ahead and call me out as the boomer that I am... but the boomers in the fan base keep NDSU from being an economic dumpster fire like Western Illinois.
National Anthem is always played after the intro, it was not a political statement to be on the field during it yesterday

I'm not a fan of kneeling, but during a normal game the amount of disrespect for the flag during the NA by fans far outweighs the players who took a knee yesterday. Some of the very people calling it disrespect don't follow what they preach. Not all or picking anyone on here out, just watch next time, people eating, on their phone, wearing hats, laughing, walking ect...just saying

So if players are protesting, what do they want us who see them do it want us to do? I am not a racist, a cop or politician. I am a football fan tuning in to watch football. This would be better received and perhaps actionable if an effort would be made to forewarn fans. Tell people ahead of time you might be offended if you tune in. Kind of like a cigarette package warning. They should impose or demand that their "celebrity " makes their opinions more important than others.

Y'all are a sad bunch of pearl-clutching people.

Go ahead and speak with your wallet, nothing wrong with that, it's your right.

You may judge them for what they believe in, but in the long run, history will surely be judging you far more harshly.

If NDSU gets hurt because these kids choose to stand up for something that isn't meant to be political (yet politicians seem to sure try and make it as such), then they get hurt. Good for NDSU allowing them the ability to do so. Consider the financial hit to be money spent to promote what NDSU and the students deem to be an important issue. I call that money well spent.

Not sure how standing up for Black Lives Matter is not meant to be political. The second you put that shit on your cleats you are 1000% being political.

If history wants to judge folks for not supporting some goofy self-admitted Marxist organization, I suspect that means some very bad stuff has happened, because those guys make typical Democrats look like Reagan Republicans.
