NDSU wants this game on a bigger stage.

Their website says the game will be on KVLY. I'm not a TV rights expert, so I dunno what that means, other than that they are showing it. (or they are as of now)

Not a lawyer, or an expert on media rights... but applying common sense -- KVLY owns the Over The Air (OTA) rights for NDSU football for statewide TV coverage... I remember reading the RFP for Football media rights, where NDSU reserved their rights to the broadcast so they could share them for national broadcasts (i.e. ESPN3 or ESPN+)

ESPN and FS1 aren't OTA broadcasters... one would think it could be shown simultaneously on a nation-wide cable system -- However, I suspect it will be shown nation-wide on ESPN+ like other games -- why, ESPN wants to increase their ESPN+ subscriptions. But anything is possible I guess

Agreed, ESPN will pump.the shit out of this game to drive viewership towards ESPN +.

Also, I really hope they run some sort of "put a cutout of your face here" ticket drive like a lot of schools are doing to fill up.empty seats. Our crew would gladly pay $100 to do that and considering it's a showcase game, it will make the Dome look SO much better on TV. Those blue and reds look awful.

Yep, my soccer team Leeds United did that, $40 for 25,000 seats in their stadium. I’ll let lakes do the math.

Kicker is they let people keep the cutouts at the end too for a momento. Would be really classy if NDSU did something like that.
