Dan Patrick show teased a segment on the game this am as well. I didn't get to hear it because of a meeting, but this game is getting major play. Smart move by AD to schedule it. Now do three more.

It's a great storyline.
Not sure how many games are going to be played that day.
How many nationally televised football slots are there?
Big10 and Pac12 had contracts with ESPN and Fox.
First weekend of October 2019 they had 6 games on ABC, ESPN, or Fox. There were 15 games on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN and ESPN 2.
Are there 60 schools playing football this fall?
12 games with ranked teams. Only 17 with ACC/SEC/BIG12 teams.
Not sure it will get picked up nationally, but it could happen.

Valley News Live owns the rights though, but it could be the primary game being promoted for Watch ESPN or ESPN+. (whatever they call it these days) They could tie it in with College Gameday... assuming covid starts to level off by October

Valley News doesn't own the rights in 2020 with Covid cancelling the season, i'm "assuming" that contract became null & void.
NDSU wants this game on a bigger stage.
