I don't know the story, wasn't around to watch him in high school, so I will let you run with it. He was a stud in High school so he must be set to be a stud at the next level, obviously SIU's 7 win 5 loss team was just so overloaded with talent he couldn't make the field. But he is set to make a run at a starting spot on a SEC powerhouse. Huge loss for SIU, rumors are the program is gonna collapse.

This notion that the Jabrill Cox model is common is just plain incorrect. JC is a very special player with a very special circumstance. I'm honestly happy for him that he was able to get more than one game in during his final season in college.

Have to agree with you on JC, Ore Gun. At first, I thought JC was just an ungrateful little prick after the NDSU coaches stuck with him after his HS senior season ending injury. He gave the Bison 3 good years; now he's going to get paid. Good for him. When they introduce him before games next season, my hope is he says something like "North Dakota State Tigers" or "LSU Bison".
