Probably worth the risk for Volson to play this spring. He will own the o line spotlight and a solid AA campaign will get him some more looks.

Volson isnt getting drafted. Neither is Schoening. At best theh are 7th round picks. If they play full senior season stick could skyrocket IMO

Kolpack has talked of Hayes as someone who is a candidate to take advantage of the extra eligibility and play the fall of 2021. It makes sense as he did not redshirt, so would have a 3rd year as a starter to improve his draft stock.

FCS is essentially Division 2, i'm not sure what you're expecting.

Not to put words in your mouth (you don't need any help), but are you suggesting this is a good thing? What options are out there for NDSU and the rest of the MVFC if FCS dies? Not a hell of a lot. G5 or 6 to the rescue ? Not hardly.

I mean. Obviously NDSU is FCS now and I don't want it dying asap. But I'm suggesting that the Talent is going to be wiped away like a hanging booger in the FCS.

Just an aside, and since you brought up Illinois State, the Redbirds' James Robinson could very well be the starting running back for the Jaguars according to reports coming out of their camp.
