Yep, zero reason for them to risk playing this spring. Work out with the team this fall and sign with an agent in spring and get on with one of those training academies this spring.

And where would they be going? Still can play in the spring as awful as that sounds. I would have to imagine the NFL will tweak the draft date a little. You can’t tell me that the FBS isn’t going to have issues this fall to promote such a move.

There going to go to Denver or Florida in the spring to one of those academies that helps prep you for the draft.

Well, so far UCA and Mo State have decided to press on and get a couple non conference games in this fall and then will hope to play a spring conference schedule. Makes perfect sense to me. Get some meaningful practice reps in for a month, play a meaningful FBS game that the kids will be jacked for and then shut it down until the Spring conference schedule. It's like having spring practice with an actual spring game that counts. Kudos to those AD's for being for being forward thinking.

Dont play over 4 games a year it could be a red shirt year. Interesting to see how the NCAA will handle that?

Considering the entire FBS will probably cancel and play in the spring like the MAC did...its inevitable
