Well, so far UCA and Mo State have decided to press on and get a couple non conference games in this fall and then will hope to play a spring conference schedule. Makes perfect sense to me. Get some meaningful practice reps in for a month, play a meaningful FBS game that the kids will be jacked for and then shut it down until the Spring conference schedule. It's like have spring practice with an actual spring game that counts. Kudos to those AD's for being for being forward thinking.
Dont play over 4 games a year it could be a red shirt year. Interesting to see how the NCAA will handle that?
