When I first heard about the postponement of the MVFC, the explanation I heard was that there weren't going to be enough conferences playing in order to have an FCS national championship. So what? It's not like the quality of FCS football is equally distributed throughout the conferences. The FCS playoff is pretty much a MVFC tournament with a few Jimmies added in. If the MVFC were to play its season in the fall, just declare the conference winner as the national champion. The only difference from previous years would be more free weekends this year in December and January.
