    Basketball
Men's- 4-14 in conference play and 10-20 overall
Women's- 4-14 in conference play and 7-21 overall

    Soccer
    Men's 3-11-2 and 2-4 conference
    Women's- 4-12-1 and 2-7 in conference

    Softball
    2-13 start

    Baseball 2-8 start

Mens Track Field 5th out of 7th
    Women's Track Field 6th out of 8

    Women's cross country- 4th out of 9
    Men's cross country 2nd out of 8

Saving grace was football where the pioneer teams don't fund scholarships either, so same level as D3 on my eyes. 7-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play. They played 1 good team, UNI and lost 44-3

Overall I thought their program would do better but that was just year 1. Bright spots were cross country
In the immortal words of Dave DeLand, the St. Thomas Director of Communications, I wonder if St. Thomas will ever play a meaningful postseason game again?

they aren't eligible for playoffs yet, so they don't care.
their BBall team will be top 3-4 next year
    their football team will.dominate pioneer.
their baseball team only lost by 1 to Creighton today.

I think they will be fine, D3 to D1 Is a big leap

UND folks were saying the same about NDSU. I think year 1 is a little quick to judge if the decision was a good one.

I agree about giving them more time except when it comes to Dave DeLand. I'm not cutting him any slack when he made that comment when NDSU moved up.

In such a hurry to look like an internet tough guy, you don't even know where the person you're trying to insult and hold some strange grudge against even works. Well played.

The best way to build a brand is not to suck so bad, nobody takes you seriously so I doubt they don't care. They just don't have the athletes to compete at this level. Some day they might but they have a ton of work to do. They are a long term investment

St. Thomas reportedly looking at space on the Ford Plant redevelopment site and approached Town and Country Club with an unsolicited offer of $60 million for their property for athletic facility expansion.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

I think their first year went just about as I expected. DIII basketball is a massive step up while football was basically a lateral move.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
