They may not want to! Point is, the only thing preventing them from being NDSU is cash and the ambition to do so. And they already have the cash. soooooo much F*cking cash
Don't forget the neighborhood and city council. Good luck to them if they want to build anything near campus!

That was my understanding as their main athletic holdup. Cash is king but so is...you know...space to spend the cash building stuff.

I knew they were limited in their facilities but I just looked it up and wow. It all looks fairly nice but those really are high school (or I suppose D3) capacities. 5000 for the football stadium that looks like it is wedged in there pretty good limited to probably a "half-bowl" design. 2000 for basketball.

I get that they are flush with cash but they've got a long ways to go. I still think they can be good in basketball in a hurry and I think that is good for the Summit, so I am glad to have them. I think football is a ways off before we are consistently competing for recruits.

St Thomas is 100% vaccinated but St Francis, an NAIA opponent apparently wasn't

Why is being cancelled though did St. Francis cancel it? Are they having covid issues?? If not why would the Tommies care if they are 100% vaccinated???

Their opponents, a NAIA school is the one with the COVID problem.

St. Thomas is trying to reschedule.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
