Keep in mind... about half of the missouri Valley is genuinely embarrassing.

They could build a fargo dome tomorrow with the cash they find in the couch cushions. I'm saying, if it is their GOAL to be the next NDSU, all they have to do is write a check.

They may not want to! Point is, the only thing preventing them from being NDSU is cash and the ambition to do so. And they already have the cash. soooooo much F*cking cash

That was my understanding as their main athletic holdup. Cash is king but so is...you know...space to spend the cash building stuff.

I knew they were limited in their facilities but I just looked it up and wow. It all looks fairly nice but those really are high school (or I suppose D3) capacities. 5000 for the football stadium that looks like it is wedged in there pretty good limited to probably a "half-bowl" design. 2000 for basketball.

I get that they are flush with cash but they've got a long ways to go. I still think they can be good in basketball in a hurry and I think that is good for the Summit, so I am glad to have them. I think football is a ways off before we are consistently competing for recruits.
