This site has a function called IGNORE, which makes posters you select disappear from your account.

I use it a lot for folks who can't keep their conversations civil or about football.

To IGNORE someone:

Sign in with your User Name and Password
Click SETTINGS on the top of the page.
Under MY SETTINGS, then MY ACCOUNT on the left, Click on EDIT IGNORE LIST.
A box appears. Type the name of the poster you'd like to IGNORE in the box.
Click OKAY.

Life then gets A LOT better!
