2022 Recruiting Updates

The big guys that I see the NDSU name with are Max Nelson and Brady Nicholson. Nicholson is an interesting guy, a little plodding and methodical, but could be a dominant inside presence with some weight room work. Really great hands and shooting touch. Maximus is a 4, and going to go high IMO, wouldn't be surprised if he ended up a badger. Lots of skinny 6'8 guys, not max, he's a man.

The Sam Hastreiter & Brady Nicholson offers came after the Nelson commit, so looks like the coaches moved on. Nelson was really racking up the offers since NDSU got in, so he must have really liked Valpo to commit early.

Saw Ryan James comment the other day that he expected Leo Torbor to get a couple more offers soon. Perhaps one will be on the Wyoming trip. Love his tape & ability to get in the lane! James also mentioned how NDSU is working hard on Torbor’s recruitment.

Should be working hard on Torbor . . . that would be a catch if we could land him. His MN Elite highlights with Pharrel Payne were . . . elite. Really like his game. Will be interesting watching Leo and teammate Carrington (gopher) on Park Center this winter. They should light it up.

Yeah...there's definitely no FBS in basketball, not to mention the Mountain West isn't even a P5 conference....they are just a higher mid-major conference. I hope Timmy does well, I just hope he does so without Torbor cuz he's playing in a Bison uniform instead.
