Illinois State HC Brock Spack announces that the Redbirds will opt out of their remaining four 2021 spring football games. The decision was made to protect the health and safety of the players and ensure their readiness for the upcoming 2021 fall 11-game slate.

Everyone knew this was going to happen once teams are out of the playoffs. Will UNI be next? There better be steep penalties and fines for quitting intentionally. Of course many many organizations have used COVID as an excuse since they can't be challenged.
