Just out of interest, here is the subtype breakdown of the five most recent "big" pandemics:

    H1N1 - 1918 Spanish flu, 2009 Swine flu
    H2N2 - 1957 Asian flu, 1889-90 flu (maybe)
    H3N2 - 1968 Hong Kong flu
    H3N8 - 1889-90 flu (maybe)

I must have been sleeping for the Shutdown and Gov mandate/orders in 2009.

#1 - Take that crap to the poli board.
    #2 - 2009 H1N1 was considered a mild flu pandemic
#3 - 2009 H1N1 was responsible for an estimated 12,500 deaths in the US out of 60 million cases(0.02%). COVID 19 has already been responsible for an estimated 160,000 deaths in the US out of 5.1 million cases(3.1%), and we're still closer to the middle than the end.

So not really a smart comparison to make.

I kind of think he was being facetious... but the amount of politics in this thread is TOO DAMN HIGH, that's for sure.

Could be. Between hanging out on too many sports message boards today plus trying to get my sleep schedule back to normal(it's 1:45pm local and I've been awake since 11:30pm yesterday), my facetious meter is flatlined. LOL

BTW, if I ever get drunk or high and ask for access to the poli board, you have my permission to come and kill me in the most painful way you can think of. I don't think I've said it, but I am very thankful it's only visible to those that want it. Honestly, I think it was a mistake to add it at all(and I hope it will eventually end up next to the other failed experiment at the bottom of the main page ), but if we have to have one, mostly invisible is the way to go.

    NDSU gonna play this fall.

    A) NDSU needs the money
    B) NDSU has 2 players Trey/Dillon ... that might not be here in Spring, playing now enhances them playing
    C) WE DESERVE NICE THINGS!!

Damn... although I doubt it happens, a game versus Nebraska would be awesome!

Something in my gut tells me we get 3 games, but those games will be against Big South teams or some other pud conference... oh well, Kennesaw State might be interesting, i guess.
