I will say that this whole thing has done nothing but absolutely cement my belief that we should be FBS and our admin should begin to pursue it at all costs. Tired of being tied down by a dvision filled with basketball and hockey schools that don't give a damn about football, we need to get out.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

I was on the FBS fence until this pandemic as well. I don't know how we get out of here, but we need to.

    Nothing left to prove anyway.

So do the players lose their scholarships if there is no season? How many athletic programs will cease to exist next year? I don't see how it will all be paid for with no fb season.

It didn’t have to be this way if not for extremely poor and self serving decisions made back in February. Just saying.

I believe most scholarships are granted but I'm not sure if they have an out. But that's exactly why this is a financial issue. Not fit greed but for survival. These athletic departments generate a lot of revenue but also have a lot of expenses. It's definitely a cash flow business with investments in facilities.

Yes. Surprisingly, I'm not hearing much about this. It's easy to say, "oh just cancel and play next year", but I don't think people really understand the implications. People shouldn't be surprised is there are major scholarship, program, athletic department reductions and even university elimination as a result of this.
