How Football could start this Fall

If the school is open how is that different than any other employee? Officials and even coaches could wear N95 masks.

That said, there is still the fan issue and there isn't much that can be done on that front.

Not different at all. Just pointing out the fact the players would be unlikely to get critically ill has nothing to do with whether or not football will happen. I'm still really hopeful but we'll see. Officiating is a very physical activity (I move 6-7 miles over the course of the game) and I think a mask would make that very difficult. Plus we have to be able to blow a whistle. That's a little tricky with a mask on.

Yeah, I don't get the winter idea when things could be just like they are now. Only thing that could change things is a vaccine and by January or Febuary that is a hail mary.

Vaccine, more card carrying antibody people, treatments, tests. It’ll be way different 6 months from now

Is this the Oxford vaccine? I was watching a guy on Howard sterns YouTube last week(dr Agnes) saying as of right now, the US has taken the top 5 science and ramped up production so when/if there’s an effective vaccine by June, they can begin to distribute it accordingly which would be an incredibly brilliant move
