Oregon State and Washington State are in much smaller cities than Fargo and they play football at the highest level.
It's OK to not be OK.

Really would be neat to see how ND would have turned out had we given the land grant to UND, or put NDSU in say...Jamestown or Bismarck due to their more central locations. Would Jamestown still be like Brookings? Or would it have become a whole different ball of wax? Who knows.
Minot is better than grand forks, hate to break it to you.

Minot is like 2-3 hours from any civilization in any direction and is a literal shithole.

Not picking a pew here or trying to be argumentative but, can’t you fly from Fargo to San Francisco or Dallas in 3 hours or so? Has Minot moved out of North Dakota proper?

    Or is Fargo not civilized?

Or can I not fly from Minneapolis to Minot in 3 hours? Is Minneapolis not civilized? (Except for lately)

Minot has Lake Sacgawea and New Town Casino 45 minutes away
Grand Forks has absolutely ZERO within 70 miles in any direction
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

Cowherd has this game as one of the 3 "Notable Games" of week 1. First minute of the video.

Not to sound like a homer, but it is one of the more intriguing non-conference matchups in a few years that Ive seen. Not a lot of great mathups first weekend I think bodes well for it to get on a good network if it is played.

    Two things.

Man i wish we had Jabril for this game. Would be fun to say we had three potential first rounders on the team and no one would laugh anymore. Also, he would have such an impact on this game.

Second, the closer we get to this game the less likely I think it will happen. While I think we need to get the country rolling again I just think they will reduce the number of games even if we have them.
    If it flies it dies.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.

If this game gets cancelled, I will be following NDSU next season. Fingers crossed it happens though.

Its looking pretty reasonable that they will go with an all-conference slate.
