    Boise State head football coach Bryan Harsin and other coaches and athletic department employees earning more than $40,000 per year will be furloughed.

    Agreed. This is wild and looks like it will be huge across college football. Very sad to hear.

    Some furloughs are done where you take 1 day a week for 10 weeks. The article didn't specify. We had a 10-day furlough back in 2010 and we could use them whenever we wanted. Basically everyone got a temporary 4% pay cut and 2 extra weeks of PTO. Or you could look at it as 10 days unpaid PTO.

    yea, maybe it's not as scary as twitter is blowing up about it right now is making it.
    but recruiting/retention/programs might be affected
