Jackrabbits going to center on Outback:

Cluff immediately becomes one of the most imposing post players in the Summit League, as he was a significant contributor to Wazzu in his lone season after coming in from junior college. Cluff started 23 of 35 games, averaging 7.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in just over 20 minutes per night. He shot .538 from the floor and .660 at the line while making his only 3-point attempt of the year. He also had 31 blocked shots.

Wisconsin is reeling following the loss of their 2 best players (I think) to the portal in leading scorer AJ Storr (who is transferring to Kansas) and Chucky Hepburn who just announced his entry into the portal yesterday. Interesting article to read (puts into perspective the impossible position most college basketball coaches are in of having to re-recruit their own players year-after-year): https://madison.com/sports/columnist...669eb4578.html

Direct quote in that article from Hepburn from last January:
“Just seeing that before the game, seeing everybody’s support makes me really proud to be in the Badger jersey,” Hepburn said. “That’s why I have a Badger tattoo. This is not just a fan base, it’s not just basketball, it’s not just sports. It’s beyond that. It’s a brotherhood. It’s a family.

“That’s why I love wearing this Badger jersey. It means more than just playing basketball, just playing the sport. I’m really proud to be a Badger and will always be proud to be a Badger.”
Thought this was interesting on a number of fronts but the Summit League tie-in is that Hepburn is Omaha transfer Frankie Fidler's high school teammate so the columnist speculates that Hepburn and Fidler may end up at the same school next year (Creighton, Nebraska, and Michigan St were the others listed in bruin's post above that Fidler is considering).
