this is the exact reason NDSU should not be staying put and dividing attention/exposure with und or even sdsu/usd/uni

General comments to the thread....

Seems to be some positive stuff on here regarding coach sather, my initial impressions are positive though I’m not the biggest basketball guy, just a casual fan. Though compared to the former goon, he seems much more genuine.... I was never a big Jones fan.

Between NDSU and UND I only saw the first game, was on vacation for the second and only saw the highlight of Stewart winning it. So no idea what to expect for tomorrow. I have to imagine UND hopes that a few SU guys get in foul trouble and that Marlon can have another dominant game. There doesn’t appear to be enough depth to play it differently.

Regardless, UND and NDSU to go to the dance and on national TV certainly makes for a fun matchup. I’ll give NDSU the edge in talent, but you also almost lost to Denver... point being it is March so who the heck know what teams show up and what will happen.
