Congrats to the women's ballers and to Coach Collins who has really done a great job with them. Restoring morale, building confidence, teaching them how to play the game physically and mentally. Great win over Denver.

(on an aside: gobison.com … the Bison "stun" Denver. Hmm … really. Media overhype? They split their games during the regular season, each taking one win, and Denver was a 15-14 team coming into the tourney. This is hardly a stunner. It is, however, a great win.)

I would say it is a stunning win. Shocking would be another good word. Maybe surprising. It's been over a decade since they won a postseason game. Collins has this team on an upward trajectory - congrats to the Bison women's team for winning their first postseason game in 11 years!

I said earlier this year she was the only one on NDSU's squad that looked like she fit when playing USD and SDSU this year.
