Eaton and Metz will both be up shortly.

If Cordell wins against All American Dakota Geer, he punches his ticket to NCAAs. If he loses he'll need to hope for a wildcard selection. Let's go Cordell!!!
Eaton now up on Mat #4. Metz is on Mat #2.
    Hail the BISON!!!

Cordell with a big takedown at the end of the first to cut it to a 5-4 deficit. Hopefully that is the boost he needs to win this

Eaton trails 7-6, but has choice in the third.

    He picks neutral

Cordell loses 10-7. He has wrestled great this weekend. Hopefully he gets 7th tomorrow and gets a wildcard

Metz trails 4-3 in the third

I think you are right. The whole team has shown a lot of fight this weekend.

All in all, definitely the best B12 performance NDSU has had. They wrestled really well all day long, and even when they lost, it was a battle. 9 out of the 10 guys are placing, which hasn't happened before.

    Heading into tomorrow with:
    Sykora and Fogarty as finalists
Franek, Droegemueller, and Midkiff alive for 3rd.
Eaton, Van Maanen, Weber, and Metz going for 7th.

Midkiff has a huge one right out of the gate. If he wins, he qualifies. If he loses, I don't like his odds of a wildcard based on how other conference tournaments are going. He already beat Moody during the year, but was unable to get any offense going and Moody has been wrestling really well.
Droegemueller has two matches tomorrow, and if he wins either of his them, he punches his ticket.
Eaton would have a very strong case for a wildcard with a 7th place finish.
Metz punches his ticket if he wins.
Weber and Van Maanen won't be qualifying, but ending the year on a winning note and getting more team points would be great.
