I was worried he would just bull his way to the paint, draw contact, and beat us at the line.

I don’t think a zone would have been a bad move during the game.

Honestly I was happy giving up that shot instead of a drive. Eady played pretty good D. Sometimes just got to give credit to the opponent.

Agreed. He was 0-6 at that point. Yes, he is a good player and can knock down that shot. But I personally thought he was just lower his head and drive tot he bucket.

My boss hates it when I shorten his name to Dick, mainly because his name is Steven.

    But, it did.

That’s why you have to play the game. We had chances to put the game away and didn’t. Players and coaching staff have to live with it and learn from it.

Agree. That shot was defended well which makes me wonder why he wasn't on him more?

Yeah but will coach learn? Doubt it and why not adjust on the fly? He put #11 in a position to fail.

Not if you run it right away on the screen, when the screen came instead of switching both Eady and Samuelson should've stayed on him, collapse the other 3 defenders and if they scramble their way out of it you end up giving up an open corner 3 to someone else, which the way they were shooting I would've been totally okay with versus letting Stewart who was feeling it get a shot up. Obviously Dave didn't feel that way and maybe some other coaches wouldn't either but when everybody in the gym knows who they are going to have take the lost shot I always make it a point to not let that guy take it. Konchar did the same thing to us at home 2 years ago, hated letting him shoot it then, hated letting Stewart shoot it now, as a coach that's just how I feel about it.

Gotta win both home games next week or its hello 2 seed.
Shahid had a nasty double dribble TO at the end too that seemed costly. Appeared he had a big brain fart on that play. He is better than that. Und did not coach much either as Stewart had over half their points.
