P5 FBS and a lot of G5 fans still won’t let the fact that we are at a disadvantage every time we play an FBS team sink in. 63 scholarships compared to 85 at the FBS level is a huge disadvantage. I always hear P5 fans say “they would never compete at the B1G or XII level week in week out because they don’t have the depth or skill.” No shit asshole! Allow us to get to 85 scholarships and let’s see how good we are. Plus at the moment we seem to do pretty well being handicapped on the scholarship level.

Not to mention damn near ALL FBS vs FCS games are at home for the FBS. I'm not aware of any exceptions in recent history.

That’s correct but left it out intentionally. If your team is good they’ll win no matter where the game is held. Comparing NDSU with FCS level scholarships is hamstrung from being at it absolute best when playing an FBS opponent and still wins. Now some might say we’ll those FBS teams you beat were trash. I say they still probably have better talent and depth but lack heavily on coaching and scheme. We have the ability to last a full game with no depth issues let alone guys leaving the field because they are cramping or tired. FBS guys seem to leave the field all the time while playing NDSU so I ask this: are we just better conditioned and don’t get tired/cramp while the FBS guys do quite a bit more because they aren’t as conditioned and the team just rely solely on running a different body out there quick? On top of that give us 22 more scholarships and let this machine run. Our conditioning on top of 22 more kids for depth = One Hell Of A Team!

The great thing about the goophs is that you have like a 40 way tie for your worst team since the 60's. There is alot of bad to compete against

Thats because jacksonville state doesnt think their the best thing since sliced bread. They dont claim their better then the big boys above them year in year out like bison fans. An fcs team beating a 11-2 big ten team is EXTREMELY unlikely, would be a app state michigan type upset it just doesnt happen beacuse the difference in talent levels. Most gopher fans dont hate ndsu they just hate their fans and what they say because they are delusional.

Yeah, they had a decent conference schedule, they played 3 ranked teams, that rarely happens. Take Iowa a few years back, they started 12 -0. They didn't play a ranked opponent until the Big 10 championship game. They lost that game, but all the college football analysts pretty much said that even if they would have won that game they wouldn't have been in the playoffs because they scheduled an FCS opponent. They ya go Einstein. Any other questions you need answered that most college football fans would know.
