I don't think Trey Lance wins the Payton award next year. No way in hell, with the talent coming back at running back and offensive line in place, do they run him like they did last year.

This. Last years DLine was so good. 2013 had amazing depth and talent.

Next years team should be better than 19. Treys JR or SR has a good chance to be best ever.

I’d say if we had the run D that the teams of past had I’d give em the ol #1 team rank. As it stands I would put them at 1B with 13 being 1A.

The most dominant single season from an offensive player we have ever seen in Trey Lance. Defense gave up fewer PPG than the 2018 team but slightly more than the 2013 team. Undefeated season was topped off by the Bison beating, IMO, the most talented FCS team they have ever faced.

I could see this year’s team challenging and beating last year’s team, but not the 2013 based on how veteran that team was compared to the 2019 youngsters.

HELL NO. the FCS is so watered down. They got challenged 2 times and sdsu lost a qb during 1 of them. some really bad teams we played this year.

2013 is far and away the BEST NDSU team ever and its not really even a debate anymore

No they're not, too young, but I believe they could well be in a year or three.
