We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

I thought the last angle clearly showed that he was short, but it was hard to tell based on any of the other angles that they showed. All of the yardage reviews were pretty darn close IMO, so while I disagree slightly with the outcome, I wasn’t exactly outraged by it. I figured the call would stand either way. I actually think we stopped Stapleton before the goalline by a couple of inches on the first review of the game too, but that one was just too dang tough to overturn based on the camera angles.

So what was the deal with Crosa not kicking? Is he in the doghouse again?

Reinholz was healthy and is better. Simple as that.

No. Reinholz was the kicker but got hurt. Crosa was a true freshmen that filled in while Reinholz healed up. Reinholz is healthy again.

The starter was back and healed up, Reinholz. As simple as that!

If you recall, I took my elderly aunt the nun to her first Bison game this fall. This past Saturday, we went to see her after the Bison win. I called on the way to tell her when we would arrive and asked her how she liked the end of the Frisco game. It was her 89th birthday, and she replied, "That interception was the BEST birthday present I could have received!"

With that comment, Bison Nation has now officially added one more member: an 89 year old Catholic nun! Horns up!

My favorite was during the second quarter Trey became a true freshman and then either redshirted at halftime or someone straightened the announcer out because he was a redshirt freshman in the third quarter.

I assumed it was because Reinholz was determined to be the better kicker at the beginning of the season and he was healthy again.

And im sorry but if you don't even know what the heck a northern pike is you probably shouldn't be announcing a ndsu football game. Somebody get that man a jar of pickled pike that isn't ready to eat yet. He deserves it.
