Isur was probably tougher. The last jmu team was probably better too.

Before the game, I was thinking NDSU would win 7 or 8 out of 10. I'm still sticking by that. I definitely was nervous a few times, though. JMU can ball!

I’m talking about champ game opponents. We didn’t have one in 16 though 16 team was definitely weak. The 16 JMU team was definitely better than most of our Frisco competition too. Certainly better than 2014 Ill St. imo.

I know their throwing their coach under the bus for that last drive but just think how much film he had watched of ndsu making goal line stands. Had to effect his play calling.

Hopefully the team is back in Fargo. Sounds like they had some fun with an airplane.

Second half: Little to no kudos deserved here. Bison come within 2 yards and a 2-pt conversion of letting it slip into OT and potentially losing the game when, based on how the Bison were beating JMU in the first half, the game should have been over by the early to mid-4th quarter. 21 pts (1st half) versus 7 pts (2nd half). Hendrick's interception was terrific (even though diNucci gave it away, looking that way until he threw) and it secured the W. However, too much Trey running, too much putting your QB at risk of an injury, not enough of the other (really good) running backs getting the ball, not enough short 5-10 yard passes, not enough utilizing the receivers, not enough keeping JMU guessing and off-balance. One could say Roehl avoided the pass b/c of the playing conditions (cold, wet, windy), but JMU was passing the ball effectively, so not a convincing argument.
Well, the middle was wide open all game and the plays called frequently had players wide open in the middle, but Lance never saw them. Watson was so wide open once that he could have taken it to the house. Instead Trey threw it into double coverage and almost threw an INT. Keporous (sp) was open numerous times. While Lance ran well he too was staring down receivers and not seeing the field like he normally does. So I don’t put the play calling issues totally as Tyler screwing up. I think sometimes you have to take what your players are giving you not just what the defense is giving you. Lance had a feel for the run game yesterday, not the passing game.

I agree. I still think the 2018 JMU team would have beat NDSU 6-7 games out if 10
The weather in Fargo keeps the undesirables out.....

Not a chance. Easton was not going to be denied a title. Remember how he scored 5 TDs in the title game?

When was the last time NDSU was ranked lower than 1 in any poll?

Huh, we only beat them 17-13?
