I need the people with greater football minds than mine to check in. I am pretty ignorant of JMU's approach to this game. Does the crappy weather favor either team? Does JMU rely more on finesse and speed, and if so your predictions on their performance if things stay ugly? Thanks.

Nervous about the weather. Have to establish the run and receivers will have to catch some wet balls to stretch the field. I hope they can do it. Going to be a tough game in the slop.

Bison 24, JMU 17. Sagarin's 4 pt edge plus 3 points for home field advantage.

My question for the Bison coaches is whether they have enough street smarts.
With an ex-Alabama coach as JMU's head coach, I suspect pretty good street smarts on the JMU staff at least at the HC position.

Have the Bison prepared for and would they recognize the tell-tale signs of a fake punt? An onside kick to start the second half? Etc, those kinds of things (which could turn out to be the difference in the game).

shots from the early news on WDAY looked pretty dead. maybe the other side of the parking lot is more alive but the side the reporter was on was open parking spaces galore
