Wow. She is on a roll. Caught a bit of the telecast between 9s. Good to have the men's corn hole tour take precident b4 her round was over.

A 3 shot lead going into the 4th Round, and I'd be confident. Up 3 after Round 1 is nothing, other than a good start.

I will say, if she can post a -4 after 4 Rounds, she has a good chance to win . . . but lots of folks are going to make a run at her.

That was a really solid -4. Should have easily been -5, missing the 6' Birdie Putt on 15. Her driving and Irons were spot on coming down the stretch.

I’ve got a good feeling about this one Old_Chap! Nobody can out work or out patient her when grinding out pars on a very tough track is the name of the game. Lot of golf remains, but this effort was certainly a nice start and very encouraging. And a lot of fun like another poster stated!

Great first day!

Slow greens and wind play to her strength (which has been her iron play), and experience. On tour, she’s played well in Hawai’i too, not links golf there but similar conditions prevail (wind and green speed, not temps and rain so much).

She's really on fire. I'll have to watch tomorrow...I think she starts at 9 something Eastern? I would think it would be hard to keep her off the TV having the overall lead, but we'll see.
