Is Cam Miller going to be the next Trey Lance? Will he be the next NDSU QB to be drafted and make it a possible 4 in a row? We shall see.

probably a few, but what a testament to NDSU's Football program.

He might be, but if Trey leaves for the NFL after next season, my guess Noah Sanders is QB1 in 2021. Also, don't sleep on Logan Graetz.

Great if he is, but I have doubts. I remember seeing a news article some time ago that said Cam was more of a runner than a thrower.

I agree on Logan Graetz-When Trey leaves early he has the potential to be the next man up. QB U

It's not the coaching staff's job to preserve a kid's NFL prospects. And honestly I'm not sure we win the '19 Ship without Lance rushing as much as he did.

That said, I also would like to see Lance run as little as possible. And I think as he continues to grow as a passer, we'll never see a rushing attack like that again with Lance.

It’s hard to say whether a more balanced rushing and passing attack would have worked against JMU, but I have to imagine we’d have some success.

That NFL prospect comment, though... I don’t know, man. Obviously it’s their job to try and keep him from getting injured whether he’s an NFL prospect or not, so I can’t agree there. It’s just smart football to try and keep your stars healthy.
