I have not looked at any stats to back this but my eye test over the years tells me that Bison QBs typically improve very little from freshman to sophomore, and take a noticeable jump as Juniors, and really command the field/offense well senior season. I agree with previous poster and wouldn’t expect Trey to statistically top last year. Great if he does but it was almost unrealistically good in some respects. I’d love to seem him improve his vision, pre snap reads etc. while maintaining/improving his already good passing accuracy
Not at all but he is not nearly as far along in his progression as a QB as you seem to spout off that he is. He has the opportunity but he needs to put in the time and progress to master running a offense and seeing the whole field and making the correct hard decisions. There are only 64 people that are starters or 2nd string at the next level every year. He has a ways to go to prove he is one of the 64

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

I'll just put this here. Bottom of the page listed with 3 other QBs. See what happens this year when we all find out he is a lifer at NDSU.
